The Anaheim Duxks and the Arizona Coyotes are squaring off this afternoon in what has surprisingly turned out be a spirited game with quite a bit of animosity. Something I don't think many people expected.
During the second period, Coyotes forward Liam O'Brien and newly acquired Ducks forward Ross Johnston, drop the gloves for a heavyweight tilt, take a look.
Ross Johnston and Liam O'Brien have had enough and drop the mitts! 🧤
Johnston was no doubt trying to make a statement with his new team, originally it doesn't look like O'Brien wants to go at all, but before long, the gloves are down and the two are throwing haymakers.
Johnston does seem to land the cleaner of the shots, but credit to both players for throwing down.
Also, the officials actually move the nets here to make sure both players avoid injury while they're going at it, which is amazing to see.
