25-Year-Old Hockey Player and Brother of NHL Star Dead After Tragic Accident

Orca Wiesblatt was the brother of NHL star Ozzy Wiesblatt. This past weekend, it was revealed that Orca tragically passed away at the age of 25.
Some devastating news has been revealed this morning, as hockey star Orca Wiesblatt has passed away at the age of 25. For those who may not know, Orca was the brother of Nashville Predators star Ozzy Wiesblatt.
The forward played his junior hockey for the Brooks Bandits, as well as the Calgary Hitmen. As a proud Albertan, he always remained in the province where he was raised.
Eventually, he moved on to the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the SPHL, and last season, he played for the Athens Rock Lobsters down in Georgia.
This season, he was set to play for the Allen Americans of the ECHL, marking a major turning point in his hockey career.

According to the Daily Hive, Wiesblatt died in a car accident in British Columbia. A true tragedy that has rocked the hockey world to its core.
With the news making the rounds, Wiesblatt's former teams, teammates, and friends posted tributes on social media.
