Breaking News - Gary Bettman unable to present Stanley Cup due to ironic health issue
Gary Bettman has presented the Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe Trophy every year the NHL awarded the trophies since 1993. So much to the surprise of everyone in attendance, there was a level of shock when Bill Daly appeared on the ice.
It turns out after spending the better part of 2-years forcing players to take COVID tests, that Gary Bettman finally fell victim to a positive result himself.
Unfortunately we weren't given the opportunity to hear Bettman be booed but it's ironic to see him miss out on a big moment due to some unreasonable policies he put in place.
