Sometimes alcohol at sporting events encourages fans to engage in things the usually wouldn't. This just might be one of those stories. At the April 14th game between the Arizona Coyotes' and Vancouver Canucks, a Canucks' fan made a choice that is likely going to come back to haunt him.

Over the course of the game the fan recorded himself taunting Phil Kessel. The video was recorded on a cell phone camera and later posted to social media.
In the video you can hear the fan taunting Phil, using a hot dog as his main prop. While their is no issue with the taunting, the fan proceeded to the concession where he purchased a plain hot dog before throwing it on the ice. The referee can be seen at the end of the video picking up the hot dog during the play.
A spokesperson for the Canucks shared the following:
What he did was completely disrespectful and not welcome at Rogers Arena. We won't stand for it and are in the process of identifying this guy and determining what our next steps will be.

This is likely not the last we hear about this story and we will provide updates as they become available.
