Carey Price forced to defend himself after fans begin to direct message his wife on Instagram
It's a well known fact that Carey Price's NHL career is likely over after suffering a string of knee injuries. Price has tried everything possible to try and extend his career, but to no avail. After failing his medical to begin this season, Carey has made a point of spending more and more time with his family.
Yesterday his wife, Angela, posted a photo of the family on her Instagram account of the group on a family ski trip. Unfortunately some fans were unable to leave well enough alone and they took to Instagram to question the Price families decision.
The questions and direct messages focused on whether or not Carey should be skiing with his current injury. The amount of messages she received became so much that Angela had to finally address them via her Instagram story.
for all those DM's no, Carey can't ski. Pray one day he will be able to join on the slopes though
While the internet has given us insight into our favourite player's lives, it has also given fans way too much access at times. Allowing fans to feel like they're entitled to far too much information. It was nice of Angela to provide clarification, but this continues to be a situation where fans aren't entitled to all this information.
