The National Hockey League is one of the toughest leagues in the world and some players, while good enough to make it for short periods of time, never really catch on, when this happens, they bounce around a lot and are usually put on the waiver wire for underperforming.
Today, a former 1st round pick was placed on waivers according to Chris Johnston of TSN and his time in the NHL May be running out, take a look:
Jankowski, 28, was drafted 21st overall back in 2012 and after some early success with the Calgary Flames has struggled to catch on with an NHL team.
This season with the Nashville Predators, Jankowski has skated in 26 games putting up a measly 7 points, including 4 goals to go along with 3 assists.
While he could be a depth option for some teams willing to take a chance on him, it appears his dreams of playing in the NHL may be coming to an end.
Teams have until 2pm tomorrow to put a claim in on Jankowski?
