The NHL held their All-Star game festivities over the weekend in Sunrise, Florida. For many the the Skills Competition was highlighted by an amazing moment involving Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin and Ovechkin's son Sergei. The three took part in a cute moment where Sergei eventually scored a goal on NHL Legend Roberto Luongo

While most people felt this was a cute moment, at least one person felt the exact opposite.
Former NHL Goalie Dominik Hasek has been very outspoken about his feelings about Russian players involvement in the NHL. Hasek has been even more outspoken about his dislike for Alex Ovechkin, a known Putin supporter.
After watching the All-Star Game performance Hasek write a scathing letter to the NHL about this display.
"The [NHL] has sunk to rock bottom! Letting Ovechkin's son perform on the ice at the NHL All-Star is spitting in the face of approximately 500 killed, thousands injured and tens of thousands of kidnapped Ukrainian children. The NHL and Gary Bettman must pay for this heinous act!"
It's clear this is a topic Hasek isn't going to change his opinion on, but the more he takes this approach the less support he's likely to receive.
