The Arizona Coyotes have been a long standing sore in the National Hockey League. Amplified recently with their inability to make artificial deadlines according to National Hockey League Players Association boss, Marty Walsh. Now, it seems as though. Arizona is running out of options and time to make a decision.
According to Daily Faceoff's Frank Seravalli, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman is set to make a decision on the fate of the franchise shortly and the Coyotes have three options; take a look.
Gary Bettman said we'll have an announcement on #Yotes future in a few weeks. Sources say it could come as soon as this weekend.
What's on the table? Three options, sources tell
@DailyFaceoff
Option one: The Coyotes find new land and start building another arena almost right away, which would cost them a whole lot of money.
Option two: the ownership group sells the team to another in Arizona, effectively keeping the Coyotes there and in turn, a new arena gets built.
Option three: Bettman announced that the Arizona Coyotes will be moving to Salt Lake City and the Coyotes become no more.
The announcement could come as soon as this weekend and personally, I would like to see the Coyotes move to Salt Lake City, but we'll have to wait for the announcement to see what the future holds.
