After Monday night's embarrassing loss to the New Jersey Devils, the Vegas Golden Knights now only have a 19.8% chance of making the playoffs. On Tuesday night, the Golden Knights official Twitter account sent out a desperate plea for help.
Both with 77 games played, the Golden Knights trail the Los Angeles Kings by 3 points in the Pacific division for 3rd place. Tuesday the Kings took on the Anaheim Ducks and the Golden Knights tried to add some extra motivation for the Ducks to win.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Vegas offering up a made up trophy is laughable. But what is even funnier is that Vegas is in this situation to begin with. At the beginning of the year, some experts had them making the conference finals against The Colorado Avalanche. Now Vegas has added one of the top players in the league in Jack Eichel and will most likely miss the playoffs. This has been a disastrous season.
