When JT Miller signed a massive 8-year extension with the Vancouver Canucks, it was supposed to mark the teams committment to winning. The team has struggled to do that all year and the results have shown the dysfunction. For some Miller is a competitive guy just trying to win games, but to others he's a locker room problem waiting to explode.
During the 3rd period of last night's game Miller had another one of his patented temper tantrums. As goaltender Colin Delia waited for the Canucks to exit the Canucks zone, he hesitates to leave the ice. Instead of pushing the puck up ice Miller circles back and yells at his goalie.
It's common practice for goalies to follow the play up ice to ensure the puck exits the defensive zone, but instead Miller wasted 11 seconds of the final minute yelling at his goalie instead of trying to tie the game.
