Jacob Trouba forced to drop the gloves after another clean hit
The New York Rangers and Calgary Flames are currently facing off at Madison Square Garden. The two teams don't face off often but you wouldn't know it by the animosity the teams have shown in the first period.
Like he's done so many times Jacob Trouba took the opportunity to deliver another huge hit. The hit, while clean drew the attention of Calgary's Chris Tanev. Tanev immediately challenged Trouba, and as he usually does Trouba quickly obliged.
Tanev was given an extra two minutes on the play for roughing, while both men received 5 minute majors for fighting. One thing to watch, after the fight Tanev left the game and has not returned.
