It is no secret that the Chicago Blackhawks have seen a downward slide this season. It's been especially hard on Jonathan Toews who is used to winning. Toews on multiple occasions has voiced his frustration on wanting the Blackhawks to be more competitive. Thursday night those emotions started to boil over.
In a game against the Los Angeles Kings, Toews was trapped in his own zone and was stuck on the ice for 3 minutes 20 seconds. The average NHL shift is 40 seconds. When Toews got back to the bench he let his team have it.
