Lou Lamoriello and the New York Islanders announce multiple signings
Lou Lamoriello and the New York Islanders have had the quietest summer of all NHL teams. Up until now the team has accomplished virtually nothing. After missing out on Johnny Gaudreau and then Nazem Kadri, many wondered if Lou had anything done at all.
Today though it appears Lamoriello awoke from his slumber as the Islanders have announced three deals with their restricted free agents.
The Islanders Twitter account made the announcement that the team had signed Kieffer Bellows to a one-year deal and both Alex Romanov and Noah Dobson to three-year deal. In classic Lamoriello fashion no salary information was released in the press release.
But NHL Insider, Chris Johnston shared the following information.
We will updated as more information becomes available.
