There has been a lot of speculation circulating about who the Montreal Canadiens will be selecting 1st overall at this upcoming draft. Pressure is sure to be high since the draft is being held in Montreal this year.
According to Jean Perron, a contact of his has confirmed that the Montreal Canadiens will be selecting Juraj Slavkovsky instead of Shane Wright. Slavkovsky is clearly NHL ready and could definitely be a solid winger for the top pairing with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.
We don't have long to wait as the 2022 Entry Draft will be happening on July 7th in Montreal. Will the Habs shock the scouting world or do they see something other teams don't?
