NHL partner Adidas sued because of their NHL jersey quality

The NHL and Adidas have been partners since 2017, when Adidas took over as the NHL's official jersey provider. While the partnership has been beneficial to both parties, but it appears that there might be a new issue.

According to Rick Westhead of TSN, a lawsuit has been filed in the state of Florida. The lawsuit accuses Adidas if
Adidas is being sued in in Florida for marketing «authentic» NHL team jerseys that are more accurately described as replicas, different from those worn by NHL players, lawsuit alleges.

Jerseys are sold via Fanatics and other third-party vendors, court docs say.

The case alleges that Adidas the term "authentic" is misleading and deceives it's customers. It will be interesting to see how this case falls under the interpretation of the law.
