According to Avalanche Insider, Adrian Dater, Kadri will not be returning to the Colorado Avalanche, a team with which he won the Stanley Cup this past season.
Kadri, 31, had a career high 87 points last season including 28 goals and 59 assists and will command North of 8 million per on his next contract most likely, that being said, he's earned it and should go to where he can flourish.
At almost 32-years-£old, Kadri will start to decline rather quickly in the seasons to come and as such, his highest earning window is rather limited. He's a competitor, so while I believe the money will be an added bonus, I don't see him going somewhere that he can't make another run rather quickly.
