Player throws the puck into his own net, in the worst own goal you've ever seen
Mistakes happen during every hockey game. Some cost teams a goal and others cost teams the games. Usually those mistakes can be easily forgiven and many times they're forgotten before the game is even over.
This mistake likely won't be forgotten as easily. During a KHL game a defender tries to bat the puck out of the air, but instead of knocking the puck away from his net, he chooses to throw it towards his net. An odd choice to say the least.
The puck sails right past his goaltender and into the net. It's not clear what he planned on doing, but this definitely wasn't it.
