Radko Gudas bumps into the ref and has to be separated by a linesman after he's called for a penalty
Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs are hosting the Florida Panthers at Scotiabank Arena. During the second period Radko Gudas was called for a roughing penalty after he got tangled up with Maple Leafs' Michael Bunting.
After the penalty was called Gudas was unhappy with the referee and approached him. As Gudas skated towards the referee angrily addressing him, but Gudas accidentally bumper the referee. As the two men exchanged words the linesman had to come between Gudas and the referee to intervene.
There was no additional penalty on the play, but this could be something the league looks into further.
