Referee makes the decision to eject all 10 players on the ice
Tonight's game between the Florida Panthers and Ottawa Senators seemed like a nothing game. Two teams on opposite ends of the standing facing off against each other. However, the game quickly became out of control in the third period.
After a shot on goal tempers begin to flare against the end boards with every skater on the ice getting involved.
After the play instead of dissecting what went on, the referee instead made the choice to eject every single player on the ice instead.
This left both benches rather empty as the referees attempted to calm things down.
