Kane's name has been swirling in trade rumours since the beginning of the year and according to Larry Brooks of the New York Post, the New York Rangers are set to make a push for the aging superstar, take a look:
Kane, 34, has been dealing with a hip issue for the majority of the season, but can still be a difference maker on the right team. In 53 games played for Chicago this season Kane has collected 14 goals and 28 assists for 42 points.
The cost of acquiring Kane has dropped significantly as it appears he's only willing to accept a deal to 1 team at this time. The Rangers were expected to be out on Kane after acquiring Vladimir Tarasenko, but according to Brooks, something has suddenly changed in New York and Chris Drury is ready to go all in.
With the anticipation surrounding Kane, we're all waiting for the shoe to drop. it seems as if the Rangers are able to make the salary cap work, they're still willing to make a move for Kane.
