After Boston Bruins' goaltender Tuukka Rask announced he was returning to the Boston Bruins it got the hockey world excited. Even more so if you were a Boston Bruins' fan. Many fans wondered if he could backstop the Bruins to one more Stanley Cups?

Unfortunately for the 35-year-old Rask, he went 2-2-0 with a 4.28 goals against and .844 save percentage, it was clear this wasn't the same Tuukka Rask. The fans knew it and Tuukka knew it as well. After an embarrassing loss to the Carolina Hurricanes, Rask decided it was time.
Rask explained to the media before tonight's game against the New Jersey Devils at TD Garden, what really led to his decision to officially call it a career:
It was time to be honest with yourself. I could have kept pushing, but what's the benefit of me playing at 60 percent...I figured it was more beneficial for everybody to call it. I had a great career. I had no regrets.

Rask was then asked, "what's next?'
I'll be hanging out with sponsors, golfing and shaking hands in suites> I was intrigued about the business side of things anyways. I don't know what the future holds. Maybe I'll get into coaching. Maybe not. But for now, I'll be hanging out with sponsors.

Rask also hinted he's going to help out Bruins' goaltenders Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman. Maybe we'll see Tuukka Rask throwing milk crates onto the ice, as an NHL coach sooner than later.
