It was feisty affair between the Philadelphia Flyers and Detroit Red Wings in Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday night. In a game that involved two non playoff teams, it was surprising to see emotions run so high.
With the score 4-2 Detroit in the 3rd period Flyers' Zach MacEwen and Red Wings' Giavani Smith dropped their gloves off a face off. MacEwen immediately started throwing punches with Smith. Round one was a quick one and kinda questionable by MacEwen.
With the way the first fight ended you knew this wasn't over yet. This one continued, with the score 6-3 Detroit with just over a minute to play MacEwen and Smith went at it again for the second time off the faceoff.
MacEwen won the fights but Smith and the Red Wings won the game.
