Ever since the Arizona Coyotes have struggled to find a permanent home, there's been a lot of buzz around whether they will relocate or if the league will seek a new NHL team. Many fans think Salt Lake City, Utah will get the new team, but this report may say otherwise.

Today on the 32 Thoughts podcast, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman said that the owner of the NBA's Houston Rockets, Tillman Fertitta admitted to Bloomberg News that he spoke to the NHL about bringing an NHL team to Houston. But, Fertitta also said that he'd only do it if it's «right for both sides.»

«Friedman on Houston/NHL (32TP): ‘Tillman Fertitta who owns the Rockets, he admitted recently, Bloomberg News is the one he told, that's he discussed it with the NHL, but it has to be right for both sides, now that raises a red flag to me' »

Houston has been in the race ever since Vegas joined the league, and missed out again when Seattle got a team. They've been due, but the question is, can they get it done, and is this their final time to get an NHL team?
