The Bruins appear to be back on the right track after a rough start to the season. Despite lingering rumors of Jim Montgomery's firing, with a 5-4-1 record in their last 10 games, they once again look like a team ready to win.
However, a lot of people believe there's still something missing in Boston. Indeed, the Bruins have apparently been looking to add a top-six forward to their lineup.
Two seasons after their former captain Patrice Bergeron retired, they acquired Elias Lindholm to fill a part of the void, but they need more. General Manager Don Sweeney could make a move soon.
The insider Jimmy Murphy revealed that an NHL source told him the Bruins are looking for help, specifically in the top six.
Here's what he said:
The Boston Bruins scored only 43 goals in 17 games this season, one of the lowest total in the NHL. Only the Detroit Red Wings and New York Islanders scored fewer goals in the Eastern Conference, with 34 in 14 games and 42 in 16 games.
It'll be interesting to see what Don Sweeney can pull off to help his team. Meanwhile, Brad Marchand and his team will try to win a second consecutive game tomorrow. It won't be an easy task as the team is set to travel to Dallas to face the Stars, one of the strongest teams in the Western Conference.
