Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz has missed over two months with an injury, and now, we finally know what he was dealing with.

Anthony Stolarz's absence has been difficult for the Toronto Maple Leafs, as they have not been able to have their tandem together.
Joseph Woll and Dennis Hildeby have had to carry the workload. However, that may not be the case for much longer.
According to Anthony Stolarz, he is going to be back in a "couple more practices." Furthermore, it has been revealed that his upper body injury was a nerve issue.
This is all very good news for the Maple Leafs, who are in desperate need of some stability when it comes to all of the injuries they have faced.
From defenseman to forwards to goaltenders, the injuries have been a complete disaster this year, and are a reason why the team has struggled to win long stretches of games.
If you can't stay healthy, you aren't going to win very much in the NHL, and this is something that all teams know. It's conventional wisdom that has stood the test of time.
Going forward, the Maple Leafs could certainly use Stolarz, although they need him to be better than he was in the first few games of the season.
If Woll and Stolarz were to get back to their level of play from last season, this Leafs team would almost be guaranteed to be Stanley Cup contenders.
Stolarz and Woll helped steal a ton of games, and the fans were delighted to watch these two cook throughout the past year.
With that in mind, it will be interesting to see if Stolarz's return to the lineup coincides with the Leafs finishing the season in a playoff spot.
