Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube is enemy number one right now with the Leafs fanbase, and social media proved it on Friday night.

Craig Berube watched his Toronto Maple Leafs give up yet another lead on Friday night, and it was brutal to watch as the team continues to struggle down the stretch.
There hasn't been much for this fanbase to cheer about as of late, and it feels as though every single game is becoming more desperate.
Meanwhile, there have been calls for Berube to be fired. The team is not generating offense under his system, and there have been times when it seems like he has lost the locker room.
With the Leafs just a point away from being last place in the Eastern Conference, there is no denying that something has to change. Having said that, it still remains to be seen what kind of change will be made.

Will the Toronto Maple Leafs fire Craig Berube?

Following last night's loss, Maple Leafs fans made their intentions crystal clear. They want Craig Berube gone. We know that because "Fire Berube" was trending on social media.
Brad Treliving's name was also trending on social media, which just goes to show that fans have had enough, and they want to see heads roll.
As we reported on Friday, it is likelier that Treliving gets fired first, as ownership currently has more faith in the likes of Berube.
At this stage of the season, firing a head coach probably wouldn't do much. However, if the Leafs continue to lose on this road trip, then perhaps a change will be made.
Peter DeBoer is right there, and he would love to coach this Leafs team if given the chance. Perhaps he could fix Auston Matthews' game in the process.
But first, the Leafs must play the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight with Dennis Hildeby in net. This could be a disaster waiting to happen.
