Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Washington Capitals are taking part in an early game, and it is one that is going to contain a fun lineup for the Leafs.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are playing the Washington Capitals in just a few minutes from now, and there has been a lot of fanfare around the lineup tonight.
Just a few hours ago, it was revealed that William Nylander would be out of the lineup due to illness, which has fundamentally changed how this game will go.
Meanwhile, it was also revealed that Joseph Woll would be the starting goalie, while Dakota Joshua would be entering the lineup after being a healthy scratch.
There has also been some speculation that Max Domi would be a healthy scratch. After all, he has been pretty bad to start the year with just six points in 23 games.

In warm-ups, it was all but confirmed that Domi would be out of the lineup. He was not on the ice, while Matias Maccelli ended up taking his place.
As for the lines, they were exactly what you would expect. Matthew Knies, Auston Matthews, and Nick Robertson were on the top line
From there, Bobby McMann got brought up to the second line with Easton Cowan and John Tavares. Matias Maccelli slots into the third line with Nicolas Roy and Dakota Joshua.
Lastly, the Leafs put Steven Lorentz, Scott Laughton, and Calle Jarnkrok together. It's a solid lineup given the circumstances.
