Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube knows just how important it is to select the right starting goalie, especially with a big game tonight against the Winnipeg Jets.

This has been a rough season for the Toronto Maple Leafs, as they are near the bottom of the Atlantic Division standings.
To top it all off, they have dealt with injuries all season, particularly to their goaltenders. Anthony Stolarz is currently out of the lineup, while Joseph Woll has missed time at points, as well.
It's been tough for head coach Craig Berube to manage, but with Woll back on the roster, there is no denying that the Leafs are getting consistent goaltending.
In fact, Woll got himself a shutout on Tuesday against the New Jersey Devils. It was his first of the season, and was easily one of his best performances.

Joseph Woll starts for the Toronto Maple Leafs

Tonight, the Maple Leafs are playing against the Winnipeg Jets, and there have been questions about who would be the starter for this game.
As it turns out, the starter is guaranteed to be Joseph Woll, who has certainly earned it when you consider his recent string of performances.
In 13 appearances this season, Woll has managed to pick up an impressive eight wins and a goals-against average of 2.51. This is paired with a save percentage of .923.
Whether or not Woll can have another otherworldly performance tonight is something that still very much remains to be seen.
Luckily for the Maple Leafs, the Winnipeg Jets played the Detroit Red Wings last night. This means the Jets are going to be a bit tired tonight.
While this won't completely affect the outcome of the game, it is still something that the Leafs should consider going into this one.
