Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly got injured against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, and Craig Berube has the latest updates.

Miraculously, the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night in a come-from-behind effort that fans didn't see coming.
In the second period of the game, the Leafs ended up losing their top defenseman, Morgan Rielly, who missed the rest of the game with an upper-body injury.
It was a tough look for the team, especially when you consider how they have been struggling with injuries all season long, and each passing week, things get worse.
After the game, the media spoke to Craig Berube, where they asked the Maple Leafs head coach about the injury and where Rielly stands.

Craig Berube gives an update on Morgan Rielly

In true Berube fashion, he made sure not to say too much. Instead, he simply noted that Rielly is going to need evaluation going forward.
Whether or not the defenseman will have to miss more time is something that remains to be seen, although it certainly would not be surprising.
The Toronto Maple Leafs take on the Calgary Flames on Monday before taking on the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday. That will be the team's final game before the Olympic break.
That is probably for the best, all things considered. It will give the team some time to regroup and get healthy for the final stretch of the NHL season.
As for Rielly, perhaps this will put a battery in his back for the rest of the season. There is no denying that he needs something to motivate him.
A win for the Leafs was huge. It snapped their losing streak, and it feels like they might just have a shot to make the postseason now.
