Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz has been waiting for his turn since a bad game against the Las Vegas Golden Knights just last week.
Anthony Stolarz finally returned to the Toronto Maple Leafs last Friday against the Las Vegas Golden Knights, and it proved to be a disaster.
He allowed five goals in Mitch Marner's return to Toronto, and the fans felt as though the goaltender had been brought back prematurely.
Overall, it was a sad display of goaltending, and since that time, fans have been wondering what Stolarz's future is going to look like.
Tonight, the Leafs are playing the Seattle Kraken, and there have been questions about whether or not Stolarz will get the start.

Those questions were answered at the morning skate, when it was noted that Stolarz was in the visitor's net, which means he is, indeed, starting.
This was good news for the netminder, who has certainly had his fair share of problems over the course of the season with injuries and poor play.
The Maple Leafs are a team in dire straits right now, and this four-game road trip will determine whether or not they will be buyers or sellers at the deadline.
More losses will only exacerbate the issue, while some wins will have fans swimming in hope that the playoffs are still possible.
It is not going to be easy for the Leafs to pull it off, but if Stolarz can have a big game, maybe the team can actually surprise a few people.
Whatever the case may be, this is something that we will be watching closely over the next few days.
