Fight breaks out after Edmonton Oilers clinch Stanley Cup Finals appearance
In what has become a game day tradition, fans dropped the gloves after the Edmonton Oilers defeat the Dallas Stars to make Stanley Cup Finals.
It should have been the happiest night of the season for Edmonton Oilers fans, but after clinching a Stanley Cup Finals birth, two Oilers fans let their emotions get the best of them. In a video posted to X, by YEGWave the incident occurs on the platform of the LRT station.
In the video two fans can be seen engaging in a fight on the platform as fans try to make their way home. Fans on the train pull out their phones to try and get the best vantage point.
Over the course of the playoffs a post game fight between Oilers fans has become somewhat of a tradition. Luckily with the Stanley Cup Finals starting Saturday night, it's likely that this won't be the final scrap out of Edmonton.
Luckily not everyone left the game angry and some Oilers fans took to the Moss Pit to celebrate the win.
