A Heart-Breaking Discovery for the Girlfriend of Adam Johnson
What was already a sad story has become even more heart-breaking with this latest revelation.
According to several reports, Ryan Wolfe, the girlfriend of Adam Johnson, made what must have been a tragic discovery for her recently after his family revealed a secret to her. Wolfe found an engagement ring in the couple's apartment in England.
"We were all really excited because we were really looking forward to their future and he didn't get a chance to ask her, and then this happened."
Johnson died after taking a skate blade to the neck during a game in the U.K.'s EIHL about three weeks ago. Matt Petgrave, the player whose skate cut Johnson, was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. He was released on bail and, so far, has not been charged with anything.
Wolfe, 24, and Johnson, who was 30 at the time of his death, had been dating for around three years. Wolfe gave a speech at Johnson's funeral where she said she'd never stop thinking about him, or loving him. This discovery must have been extremely hard on her while she was already grieving.
