Everyone loves a big hit! They get the crowd going and can even sway momentum in the game. But even more so when you see unlikely star players throwing their bodies around.
During last night's game at the Verizon Center between the Las Vegas Golden Knights and Vancouver Canucks, the Canucks were leading 3-1 in the 2nd period. That's when Golden Knights' Jack Eichel was trying to light a fire under his team. He had an opportunity to lay a big hit and he took it.
Unfortunately for Jack it didn't work out the way he wanted. As the listless Knights fell 5-1 to the Canucks.
