NHL circulates memo alerting teams of new 'critical dates'
The NHL keeps a running calendar of all the league's important dates. The 'Critical Dates Calendar' as it's known contains all the important information teams need to know. The list includes such dates as the Trade Deadline, Qualifying Offer Due Dates and many more dates.
By the beginning of preseason that calendar is usually finalized, but today the league made a notable addition. According to Chris Johnston of TSN the league sent out the following memo:
The NHL has circulated an updated critical dates calendar to clubs for the 2023-24 season.
It has marked off June 28-29, 2024 for the Draft but doesn't include a location.
As reported previously, the NHL has been working to finalize plans to host the 2024 Draft in Las Vegas.

So despite multiple roadblocks it appears the NHL may have finally managed to lockdown a time and place for the NHL Draft in Vegas.
