Oilers fans upset as season ends on questionable video review results
The Edmonton Oilers fan base is upset after feeling they were robbed of additional playoff time due to a blown call by the referees. The goal came in overtime after the Oilers had blown both a 3-1 and 4-2 lead in the 3rd period.
Only 1:19 into overtime Artturi Lehkonen tips a shot from Cale Makar which appears to be above his shoulder which would signify a high stick. But the official review deemed the contact below.
Oilers fans were clearly disappointed by this call, but it wasn't this one play that cost the Oilers the series. Congratulations to the Avalanche who now await the winner of the Rangers versus Tampa Bay series.
