Meredith Gaudreau shares heartfelt post to Johnny on their anniversary
Meredith Gaudreau took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post to Johnny on what was supposed to be their anniversary
Just hours before their sister's wedding the hockey world was shocked by the tragic passing of Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau. The two brothers were struck by a vehicle driven by an allegedly drunk driver. The family has continued to handle the situation with grace and class throughout the struggle.
Today Johnny's wife Meredith took to Instagram to share another post about her husband. This time on what was intended to be the couple's third wedding anniversary.
I never post this much but John deserves it. 3 years ago today became yours forever. One of the best days of my life, including the night we got engaged and the days we brought our babies into the world. The day I met you l remember saying to myself, omg I'm going to marry him. And every day after that kept getting better and better. I love you forever John and am so proud to be your wife.
During this difficult time both the Columbus Blue Jackets and and Calgary Flames have announced candlelight vigils for the Gaudreau's.
The man accused of this crime is set to appear in New Jersey court tomorrow to face his second appearance after being remanded into custody over the holidays weekend. Hopefully at the time, the Gaudreau Family will receive some form of information about the future proceedings to help them get justice.
