Two superstars drop the gloves and go toe-to-toe in spirited tilt as Filip Forsberg drops gloves with Mortiz Seider
Fighting is a part of the sport of hockey, also has been, probably always will be, but it's not very often you see a pair of superstars drop the gloves, in fact, it's heavily discouraged most of the time. Sometimes though, emotions take over and star players end up dropping the gloves.
This was the case today as the Nashville Predators face the Detroit Red Wings in a game that likely has some playoff implications as the two teams try to get into the post season; take a look.
Seider and Forsberg drop the gloves 😳🥊
Tempers flared and before long the gloves were down between Moritz Seider and Filip Forsberg, two unlikely combatants to say the least.
This sure was an entertaining tilt that seemed to go on for a long time. Both exchanging shots and standing on the pocket while not playing a lot of defence.
Eventually, Seider would get the upper hand and the refs would step in, but if that fight proved anything, it's that even stars can go at it and not flinch
