Craig Berube appears to chew out Brad Treliving for ill-advised Anthony Stolarz move

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz had himself a bad game against the Golden Knights, and Craig Berube appears to be deflecting some blame.
Anthony Stolarz was back in goal for the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday, and it had been 70 days since his last start.
As you would expect, the goaltender had lots of rust. So much so that he allowed five goals on 30 shots and was a major reason why the team lost.
What was especially surprising about Stolarz's start is the fact that he was not allowed to play a game with the Toronto Marlies first.
Instead, he was thrown into the fire and had to figure things out rather quickly, which isn't exactly very fair, all things considered.
Craig Berube pressed on Anthony Stolarz strategy
Today at practice, Craig Berube was asked about the decision not to have Stolarz play a game in the AHL before coming back to the NHL.
This led to a very blunt response from Berube, who deflected the responsibility over to general manager Brad Treliving.
That's not my call.
Quite frankly, this response from Berube is an interesting one, and you have to wonder whether or not there is tension between him and Treliving.
The Leafs are underperforming, and the general manager hasn't made any moves to actually improve the team and get them in the right direction.
If the Leafs don't start winning, then there is a very good chance they just end up missing the playoffs, and from there, Berube's job could be on the line.
