Leafs goalie Joseph Woll all but confirms when he will make his season debut

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll is working his way back to the roster, and it appears as though he might just be on the verge of starting.
Joseph Woll, when healthy, is a godsend for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Last season, he and Anthony Stolarz combined for one of the best tandems in the league.
Unfortunately, things have not worked out for the Leafs when it comes to goaltending this season. Woll has been out due to a leave of absence, while Stolarz has struggled with the workload.
Now, Stolarz is injured, and Dennis Hildeby has had to carry the load. Thankfully, Joseph Woll has been reactivated by the Leafs, and appears ready to go.
Joseph Woll angles for a start against the Chicago Blackhawks
On Saturday, the Maple Leafs will be in action against the Chicago Blackhawks, where they will look to snap a four-game losing streak.
While speaking to the media, Woll made it as clear as ever that he is ready to go, and it seems like Saturday could be his first start of the season.
I feel great ready to go. It's been a bit of a weird start to the season, like we've talked about before. I'm just really happy to be here and be back. I got to play a game and a half with the Marlies, and I'm just pumped to get going.
If Woll plays on Saturday, then fans of the team are going to be excited. Whether or not he is his old self remains to be seen.
His two starts with the Toronto Marlies were a mixed bag at best. The team needs a win, and that means they need Woll to be playing his best hockey.
If you are a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, then this is a stretch of hockey that you would probably like to forget.
Perhaps the return of Joseph Woll will finally usher in some good news for the fans who have been begging for this team to finally kick things in gear.
