Maple Leafs lineup vs. the Avalanche: Young star finally gets a chance to shine

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube made a big decision today, as the team looks to get back in the win column against the Colorado Avalanche.

With the Toronto Maple Leafs five points back of a playoff spot, now is the time for the team to start winning in a consistent manner.

Today, the Leafs have a game against the Colorado Avalanche, a team that they were able to beat just a couple of weeks ago.

This is not going to be an easy game to win, especially when you consider how William Nylander is going to be out of the lineup, yet again.

Having said that, head coach Craig Berube has his team ready to play, and when it comes to the lineup, it appears as though he has made some changes.

For instance, Calle Jarnkrok is being taken out of the lineup tonight. Instead, it is going to be Jacob Quillan on the ice.

As for Scott Laughton, he could be moved up and down the lineup, which is good when you consider how he only got nine minutes of ice time on Friday.

This could end up making a world of difference for the Toronto Maple Leafs, who remain one of the teams underperforming this season.

They need something that will jumpstart the rest of their season, and a big game from Jacob Quillan could be what the doctor ordered.

Of course, there is no guarantee that any of this works out for the Leafs, but they certainly need it to work out.

With the game starting in 30 minutes from now, we will get a much better sense of where the Leafs are.
