Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving is open to doing business, and it appears as though he is making the team's presence felt across the league.

Brad Treliving and the Toronto Maple Leafs have made it clear that they would love to do business with anyone who is interested. They have some needs to fill, and there are teams that are looking to sell.
The team could use a right-handed puck-moving defenseman. They could also use a ton of speed. In case you haven't noticed already, this team is very slow, and the top six isn't cutting it at times.
There are plenty of players who could fill this need for the Leafs, including Jordan Kyrou, who plays for the St. Louis Blues and has been named in numerous trade rumors.
In fact, the Kyrou-Leafs rumors may have just found new life thanks to a recent development that took place during last night's Blues game against the Boston Bruins.

According to Shawn Hutcheon, the Maple Leafs were one of 15 teams that sent a scout to watch the Bruins and Blues game. Typically, this wouldn't mean much, but given the Blues and Leafs' situation, it seems clear that business could be done.
Scouts row is filled tonight for #stlblues vs #NHLBruins. This game is being scouted by OTT, SJS, ANA, NSH, NJD, TOR, NYI, WPG, FLA, DET, EDM, NYR, VAN, PIT, and MTL.
It has been reported that most teams throughout the NHL would prefer to get a trade done by the Olympics, as there is a risk of injury for those going to Italy.
With that in mind, the Leafs could very well find themselves in a position to go out and get themselves a player as one final means of guaranteeing a playoff push.
They have won three games in a row, and they have done so in convincing fashion, which just goes to show that there is all the more reason to double down on this roster.
Sure, the first few games of the season were ugly, but it really does feel as though this offense, and even the defense, has found itself a new gear.
