J.T. Miller was traded by the Canucks after months of drama this season, and now, he's opened up on how he feels ahead of a showdown with Vancouver on Saturday.

In late January, the Vancouver Canucks traded one of their biggest stars, as they ended months long speculation and drama by moving J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers in a deal that returned them several pieces.
Now, for the first time, the two teams will officially do battle again on Saturday at Madison Square Garden, with some fans expecting some animosity between Miller and his former team.
While the veteran forward admits it's business as usual on the ice when the whistle blows, he has now opened up on how he feels going against his former squad, revealing a dinner between them on the eve of a must-win game for both teams.
«Some of my best friends are on that team. We're going to dinner tonight, but once tomorrow comes, it's going to be a war, and I think we all understand that. We would rather it be that way anyway. It's all business when we get out there.»
Much has been made in the media of the rift in the locker room involving Miller, but it appears that was more speculation than anything, and while a feud did exist with Pettersson, things seemingly weren't as bad as those in the media made it out to be.
Ultimately, both teams on the ice desperately need a victory on Saturday to stay in the Wild Card hunt, and while the intensity will be there when they meet, Miller has set the record straight that he's still got plenty of love for those in Vancouver.
