4-Time Stanley Cup Champion continues his feud with NHL on TNT Host
Continuing their feud that started in February of 2020, former NHL enforcer and zero-points scorer, Paul Bisonnette and Butch Goring continued to spar this month.
Despite their feud which had the potential to be over with, Biz, now NHL on TNT host and Spittin' Chiclets host, called Goring an "Old Fart" in 2020, while Goring, of course, defended himself.
In this case, it refers to Biz taking potshots not just at the 4-time Stanley Cup champion, but also at the New York Islanders as a whole, calling their play boring.
Maybe when you get your ball bag out of the mason jar in Lou's office you can come on the podcast to say it to my face. Does he make you puppets shave those too? I know he likes the control Butchy boy.
Goring and Bissonnette engaged in verbal sparring tonight, as Biz implied Lou Lamiorello had Goring's balls in a jar in his office since Goring is loyal to the franchise.
Biz went a step further, challenging Goring to a fight in what we'd all assume would be the Spittin' Chiclet's office.
As far as bonafides go, Butch Goring has won four Stanley Cups.
Goring has far more on-ice credentials than Bissonnette, who scored seven goals and 15 assists in 202 NHL games across six seasons. Meanwhile, Goring is regarded as being the final piece of the Islanders dyasty puzzle when he was acquired from the Los Angeles Kings on March 10, 1980. The 1981 Conn Smythe Award winner scored 375 goals across 16 NHL seasons and had his No. 91 retired by the Islanders on Feb. 29, 2020.
Even as an enforcer, he couldn't find a bench to ride for a Stanley Cup-winning team during his time in the NHL.
It seems easy, who to support in the verbal joust between clown and legend, and it isn't Biznasty.
