Don Cherry amazing interview quote resurfaces and it's still hilarious
Don Cherry has always been known for being very outspoken and opinionated. That's one of the things that so many fans loved about him. Unfortunately his opinion and comments are ultimately what cost him his spot on Hockey Night in Canada. After making a comment about people not purchasing poppies, Cherry ultimately offended the masses by using the comment "you people".
Sportsnet immediately ended Cherry's contract, while retaining Cherry's co-host Ron MacLean.
Now a Twitter user has resurfaced an amazing video of Cherry from his coaching days. The video comes after a loss that ultimately cost Cherry's team a matchup with the New York Rangers. After being asked about the hypothetical matchup Cherry quipped back.

It's clear even back when he was the coach of the Bruins that Cherry wasn't afraid to tell people exactly how he saw things. In 480 career games Cherry had a professional coaching record of 250-153-77. He also won the Jack Adams in 1975-76 as the best coach in the league.
