Insider reveals details on Barry Trotz and his future in the NHL
Since Barry Trotz was let go by the New York Islanders, he'd been out of the game. Many have wondered if he was going to come back after some time off, but the more time that passed, the more everyone has wondered if he'll ever get back behind a bench.
According to Jeff Marek of Sportsnet at the intermission said that even with the Nashville Predators struggling and Trotz's name circling, is unlikely he takes over any team before the end of the season
Trotz hasn't coached since the end of last season when the Islanders missed the playoffs and although I'm sure he's had plenty of offers he hasn't taken one yet.
At this point in his storied career, he should be able to decide when and if he decides to return. It sounds like he wants to get back behind a bench, but won't do so until next season at the earliest.
If Trotz wants to coach again, no doubt he will have suitors lined up waiting to call him. The ball is squarely in his court at this point. Is a reunion with the Predators in the cards?
