NHL All Star Game Lineups announced
The 2023 NHL All-Star Game will be in Florida this year, and unlike last year the NHL introduced a new way of nominating players this year: fan vote.
The format is similar to the NBA All-Star game and suprisingly, no John Scott(s) will make it onto the ice this year(Sorry Ryan Reaves).
The voting has concluded for the Metropolitan and Atlantic Divisions for the All-Star Game. Each roster looks very competitive considering who's been rostered with a star-studded lineup: ranging from Matthew Tkachuk to Alexander Ovechkin.
Newcomers to the game are Tage Thomspon, in his breakout season will look to solidify his presence on-ice as a game changer. Also nominated for his first time after last year's snub, is New York Rangers goalie, Igor Shesterkin. More Metropolitan Division players selected Brock Nelson, Johnny Gaudreau, and Sidney Crosby as obvious shoe-ins.
The Atlantic Division has an obvious advantage with Nikita Kucherov, Dylan Larkin, Mitch Marner and Steven Stamkos, but it will be a fun game to see who will ultimately win this year.
